About Martha

The bulk of my working life was spent in clothing factories, moving from one to another as each one closed. I was a sewing machinist and I knew how hard it was to earn money through piecework rates. In 1986 I joined the ranks of shop steward. My main objectives were better working conditions and higher incentive rates of pay. One year later I became a member of that union’s executive board where I had to travel to London for meetings. It was a long hard struggle that ended 3 years later when the factory closed.

Although my career in politics was over I still had to work, and being active in a union wasn’t exactly a glowing reference for a job in another factory. Therefore, I worked in stores as a shop assistant, cleaned offices and hospitals as a domestic assistant, and helped nursing staff as a nursing assistant. A few years later I eventually landed a job in a factory that didn’t employ a union. I worked in that factory for a grand total of 4 years until it closed in 1998. I was fed up to say the least with factory closures and at this point in my life I decided to do something completely different.

For as long as I can remember I have been interested in psychic stuff and the spirit world. However, there were times when I thought that my interest was purely due to a vivid imagination. I was only 12 years old when I visited an old lady called Nancy who read the ordinary playing cards. Every night I would ask Nancy to read my cards, and one night she asked me to read her cards. I thought she was just having a laugh so I read her cards, and was shocked when she said that I was spot on. Nancy must have thought I had potential because she offered to teach me to read cards. So every night I would go to Nancy ’s house and we would go through the cards. I was in the church the night she passed over, which was 15 years later. I was telling my friend who was our local medium, all about Nancy when she said that Nancy would come to me in my sleep, and that night she did. I woke in the morning with a clear memory of the conversation that had taken place between Nancy and myself, and I knew for definite that I was getting nearer to the truth. Nancy was a lovely lady and I will never forget her for as long as I exist!!

My gained knowledge and understanding of the spirit world, however, also made me inquisitive about the workings of the human brain. Since I wanted to understand as much as possible about the physical brain, I studied and qualified in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. I now have a better understanding of the human brain and the human mind, and how that they are two separate units. Also, that the brain is part of the human body, but the mind is still clearly active after the funeral. Therefore, all communication from the spirit world takes place in the mind of the physical being. So in fact when people say to you that its all in the mind, you can tell them they are correct because it is the only way that the spirit world can communicate with us. When we understand that our mind and our brain are two separate units, we can look at ways of developing our mind, to enable us to communicate with the spirit world.

Since qualifying in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, I have been researching Karma/Re-incarnation and seriously linking it to evolution. My beliefs are that we need to re-incarnate to possibly learn the same lessons over again but at an evolved state of consciousness. Now with that theory I could understand why we live hundreds or possibly thousands of lives here on this earth. It makes sense to me that if the world was to evolve (which we know it does) then humans would also. And maybe one of the reasons why we would want to come back to this earth and re-incarnate at a higher evolved state. I have put together a 2-day workshop about personal development involving free will, choices, personal responsibility and challenges, Karma past and present and how to disolve it, re-incarnation and my theory on why we re-incarnate, and now I am looking to merge this 2 day workshop with a further 3 days about goings on in the spirit world, the reasons why evolved spirits can move up levels in the spirit world, and linking everything to evolution. Once I have documented and copy-writed this 5-day course, I will be advertising dates on this web site, and also offering dates for those who wish to book me to come to you.
